The Epsilon 180ED optical tube, based on a design formed by an association of mirrors and lenses, offers an innovation compared to newton reflectors and Schmidt type astrographs. Thanks to its hyperbolic mirror and corrector lens in the eyepiece holder, the Epsilon 180ED field is perfectly flat and allows the use of 35 mm, 6x6 and 6x9 photographic formats, delivering stellar images of less than 20 microns, which highlights the extreme optical precision of this telescope with unparalleled contrast and sharpness. The rack-and-pinion focuser has a rotating or angular camera adjustment system that allows precise and easy framing of the objects to be photographed. The quality of the mechanical design keeps the mirrors perfectly aligned, drastically reducing the need for collimation. The primary mirror cell is equipped with three double-action screws that make mirror adjustment an easier task. The 180 mm aperture and a focal length of only 500 mm allows you to quickly capture deep sky objects. Includes 31.75 adapter.
