Telescope Pack Celestron CGX-L 925 with customized astrophotography course
IN TELESCOPIOMANIA WE OFFER YOU NOW TOGETHER WITH YOUR TELESCOPE, OUR PERSONALIZED COURSE OF ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY INITIATION.
The CGX-L computerized equatorial mount is the latest design from Celestron to join our range of computerized equatorial mounts. Capable of holding the largest optical tubes in the world Celestron the CGX-L is designed for observations even with remote cameras thanks to its exceptional load-to-weight ratio. They also incorporate a compact design and innovative features to support large telescopes, astrophotography equipment and the latest in wireless technology.
The main objectives of the new design include a 144 mm diameter ring gear that provides more precise guidance even under heavy loads. It includes a 270 mm dovetail to support larger optical tubes. Also wifi support with accessories incorporating features such as Polar alignment and automatic detection of the Sky Portal module, and better overall cable management. In addition, mechanical and ergonomic improvements have been made to make the mount more robust, easier to use and easier to transport. The CGX-L is COMPACT, ERGONOMIC AND INNOVATIVE.
New CGX-L features:
Increased load capacity of 34kg. Exceptional load capacity in relation to weight
Additional auxiliary ports and autoguiding port on the declination axis for better cable management
Larger 144 mm diameter worm gears for better and more precise displacement of heavier loads
270 mm dovetail to better support larger optical tubes
70 mm solid stainless steel tripod legs with wider spread for better stability under heavy loads
New accessory tray holds three 1.25" and two 2" eyepieces with a vertical holder for your smartphone or tablet
31.5 mm stainless steel counterweight shaft to support additional counterweights
Specially designed polar finder option for CGX and CGX-L
Supports wireless and WiFi operating accessories, such as StarSense AutoAlign and SkyPortal WiFi Module (sold separately)
Compact, lower profile equatorial head provides improved stability and portability. Stronger and stiffer with faster acclimatization time
Improved motors provide more torque, better turning and tracking under heavy loads
Belt drive system minimizes backlash while providing smooth engine operation at full capacity
Transparent windows integrated into the motor covers so that pulleys and belts can be monitored
Spring-loaded brass worm wheel and stainless steel worm gear reduce friction and provide optimum engagement
Internal wiring for worry-free remote operation. Power inlet and lower accessory ports remain stationary while the mount rotates to avoid jamming
Internal stops for both axes prevent cable strain and impact with the tripod
Internal optical sensors on both axes for simple and safe remote operation
Sensors allow the mount to always start at the index position, regardless of orientation before a power restart
Limit sensors automatically turn off the rotation before the physical stop of the mount is reached
It includes the new PWI telescope control software from Celestron, developed by PlaneWave Instruments. The software features multi-point mount modeling for extremely accurate pointing precision
Polar Align Software: "All-Star Polar Alignment" enables fast and highly accurate polar alignment. Aligns to any bright star without additional polar alignment accessories, applications or other assistance
Adjustable equalizing head position to optimize the center of gravity on the tripod to fully utilize the full latitude range, increased from 3° - 65°
Double dovetail bra Vixen / CG-5 and Losmandy / CEM
+ 20° of additional tracking beyond the meridian on either side
The redesigned tripod allows for wider deployment for greater stability. The minimum tripod height has also been reduced
Tripod legs can be collapsed with the accessory tray installed for faster setup and transportation
Improved ergonomics
Integrated handles for easy carrying and portability
New ergonomically designed dovetail clamping levers
Innovative and improved polar alignment adjustment system
All-new ergonomic adjustment levers with reduced friction for smooth and easy positioning under heavy loads.
Redesigned azimuth adjustment with low-friction Teflon bearings for easy adjustments under heavy loads
Easy-to-read latitude scale
NexStar + controller with USB port
USB 2.0 port used to connect directly to the PC with PWI software
2 automatic control ports available for optimal cable management
