Telescope Pack Celestron CGX 925 SC 12051 with customized astrophotography course
IN TELESCOPIOMANIA WE OFFER YOU NOW TOGETHER WITH YOUR TELESCOPE, OUR PERSONALIZED COURSE OF ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY INITIATION.
Optical tubes Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain 9.25" tubes are manufactured to the same standards applied to the higher end tubes.
Each optical surface of the optical tubes Celestron is coated with the highly efficient StarBright XLT® multi-layer treatment. All tubes are equipped with the same dovetail fitting platform used in the Advanced GT and CGEM series so that it is easy to fit them into a variety of mounts.
The telescope Celestron CGX 925 Schmidt-Cassegrain features StarBright XLT coated optics of Celestron and the newly designed CGX computerized mount. This is the most versatile and portable of the SC models from Celestron equipped with CGX. This telescope is specially designed for fantastic planetary observations and also performs extraordinarily well in the deep sky. With its 9.25-inch aperture and premium StarBright XLT treatments, the CGX 925 gives you more than 1000 times the light gathering power of the unaided eye.

CELESTRON CGX EQUATORIAL MOUNT.
For eight years, CGEM's CGEM mounts from Celestron have been the backbone of German equatorial mounts for telescopes ranging from 6 to 11 inches in aperture. Since that time, astronomical and especially astrophotographic observing technology has evolved tremendously. So the engineering team at Celestron has applied its years of experience in German equatorial frame design to the new CGX EQ, a culmination of all the recent advances in technology, ergonomics, attractive design and ease of use.
The new Celestron The CGX telescope we offer at Telescopiomania has been designed to better support your telescope in both visual and astrophotographic configurations. Key objectives of the new design include a lower profile equatorial head, which provides a much more compact and therefore more stable configuration; an improved drive system; secure remote operation through stable "home" positions and visual limits; easier adjustments for polar alignment; and improved cable management. In addition to all this, many mechanical and ergonomic improvements have been introduced to make the mount much more robust, easier to use, and more agile in transport. The CGX mount is the new equatorial backbone to support a wide range of telescopes.
ITS MAIN NOVELTIES ARE:
Completely new design. More robust and stiffer with faster damping time.
Load capacity increased to 25 kg.
Improved motors provide more torque, better operation and tracking under heavy loads.
The belt drive system minimizes backlash while providing smooth motor operation under heavy loads.
Improved cushioning.
Stainless steel helical gears reduce friction and provide optimum meshing.
Internal cabling for worry-free remote operation. Power and accessory input ports remain stationary while the mount moves smoothly.
Internal stops for both axes prevent cable and tripod strain.
Mechanical movement stops.
Internal optical sensors on both axes for simple and safe remote operation.
Sensors for home position and observation limits. The "home" sensors allow the mount to always start working at the reference position regardless of orientation before a power restart. Limit sensors automatically turn off the slewing or tracking before the safe stop is reached.
New control software developed in conjunction with PlaneWave Instruments for professional level imaging and control operation.
The software includes multipoint mount modeling for extremely accurate pointing precision and many additional features for remote astrophotography.
Wider tripod position for improved equipment stability.
Adjustable position of the mount head to optimize the center of gravity on the tripod and take full advantage of the latitude range from 3° to 65°.
Head with double dovetail, for dovetail CG-5 / Vixen and CGE / Losmandy.
UPGRADED TRIPOD INCLUDES:
2" steel feet with height index marks for quick leveling.
Accessory tray that can hold three 1.25" eyepieces, two 2" eyepieces, your smartphone or other accessories.
+ 20º of additional tracking beyond the meridian on both sides.
The tripod legs can be collapsed with the accessory tray installed for faster setup and transport.
IMPROVED ERGONOMICS:
Two ergonomic carrying handles for easy pick-up, operation and transport.
New ergonomically designed dovetail clamping handles.
Innovative, simplified and improved polar alignment adjustment system.
New ergonomic latitude adjuster for smooth and easy adjustment under heavy loads.
Optional polar finder (available soon).
ELECTRONICS:
New NexStar+ control unit with USB port.
Two AUX auxiliary ports to support wireless and WiFi alignment and operation with StarSense AutoAlign and SkyPortal WiFi accessories (sold separately).
USB 2.0 port, used to connect directly to the PC with the included software.
Self-guiding port, prepared for PPEC.
Threaded 12VDC power input connector.
Internal real time clock (stores the time and information of your observation site).
