The OMEGON AC 60/700mm telescope is the ideal telescope to get started in the hobby of astronomy. A fantastic gift for both children and adults with an excellent quality/price ratio.
The instrument can be assembled quickly, simply and without tools, following the motto: position, insert the eyepiece and observe!
The 60/700optical system:
The optical system of this refractor telescope with an objective aperture of 60mm and focal length of 700mm is the ideal tool for orientation in the sky, for observing the large planets such as Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, and even reveals, under favorable conditions, known deep space objects such as the Andromeda galaxy. Your first astronomical observations will probably have the Moon as a primary target. You will be amazed by the clear and richly contrasting depictions of lunar craters. The inverting prism supplied with the telescope also makes it possible to observe nature during the daytime. The inverting prism inverts the normally inverted image of an astronomical telescope.
Included accessories
- 20mm eyepiece for 35x magnification
- 10mm eyepiece for 70x magnification
- Red dot finder for easy finding of astronomical objects
- 90° zenith mirror for observing objects near the zenith
- 2x Barlow lens for doubling eyepiece magnifications
- Inverting prism to invert the image offered by the telescope
Features
- Easy to mount
- 1.25" eyepiece holder
- With the telescope you can observe thousands of lunar craters
- Supplied with many accessories that add value to the telescope
- Ideal for children and adults who want to get started.
The AZ-1mount:
This is a very popular mount for beginners in astronomy, as it is very easy to use. The entire telescope can be easily moved in azimuth and altitude. For you, as a beginner, this brings with it the advantage that you do not have to engage in complicated pre-adjustment of the telescope. You position your telescope very quickly and easily: Position tripod and mount, mount the telescope and off you go! You can set the adjustment of both axes, so that the found terrestrial objects remain fixed in the field of view. On the vertical axis you can move the tube by fine adjustment. The mount is mounted on a variable height aluminum tripod.
The tripod is delivered with:
- AZ-1 altazimuth mount
- Sturdy aluminum tripod (variable height between 71cm and 121cm)
- Accessory tray
