The extremely fast 200mm (f/4) parabolic primary mirror of the Vixen Newton RS200SS tube provides extraordinarily bright images without chromatic aberration. The use of advanced optics coating technology allows you to take full advantage of its f/4 primary mirror. The observer will enjoy observing deep sky objects with large fields of view, especially clusters of nebulae and clusters that are more difficult with other types of instruments.

The combination of its wide aperture and compact design makes it ideal for astrophotography of nebulae, star clusters and comets. The use of an optional coma corrector allows for coma-free images over the entire field, and its rack-and-pinion focusing system allows for the attachment of 50.8mm eyepieces with an adapter.
