Wind sensor for SPIDER MarkII and INTREPID
Wind sensor for SPIDER MarkII radio telescopes and INTREPID antenna systems to continuously read the wind speed for safety: in this way, if the wind speed exceeds the safety speed, the antenna automatically moves pointing to the zenith, in a safe position, thus reducing the wind load on the antenna.

Wind sensor for SPIDER MarkII and INTREPID
The wind sensor for SPIDER MarkII radio telescopes and INTREPID antenna systems consists of the sensor (which is installed outside, near the antenna) that measures the wind speed and a pole mount (pole not included).
The wind sensor for SPIDER MarkII and INTREPID connects directly to the electronics of the antenna tracking system, so it works independently of the control software and does not require connection to the control room.
