Powertank Lithium Celestron.

The Lithium from Celestron is a portable powertank that uses new lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry technology.

It incorporates a new design with smaller and lighter acid cells, making it much safer and easier to maintain than lead-sealed lithium-ion batteries.

Its service life is up to 2000 charge cycles, four times longer than lithium-ion batteries and 7 times longer than lead-sealed battery designs.

Life without recharging is up to 10 years, 3 times better than lithium-ion batteries and 10 times better than lead-insulated batteries.

It is an environmentally friendly battery as it does not use toxic heavy metals. It uses phosphates instead of cobalt or lead common in other rechargeable batteries.

The new Lithium powertank from Celestron holds a charge for much longer, as its performance degrades at a much slower rate than other chemical batteries.

Lithium can withstand higher temperatures than most other rechargeable batteries on the market and will not pose a fire hazard in the event of accidental leakage.
