EQDIR USB cable for EQMOD

The new compact EQDir USB cable for EQMOD allows you to directly connect the SKYWATCHER HEQ5 PRO, NEQ6 PRO II, AZ-EQ6 and EQ8 mounts to your PC or laptop. With this cable you can have remote control of the mount Skywatcher directly via PC without the need to use the remote control. Ideal for remote observatories.

The EQDIR heart is based on the FTDI USB to Serial conversion chip

This device uses an original FTDI chip that is fully compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, OSX and Linux. There is no need to install external drivers as Windows Update will directly install the latest version of the FTDI driver. Just plug the cable into your PC and start working.

EQDIR cable for mounts with DB9 connection

Choose the appropriate version of your cable according to your mount. Here is the version that does not need the DB9 adapter but if you have an EQ6 or ATLAS (DB9) mount then you will need to order the DB9 adapter at the time of ordering and you will be ready to work as well.
