Connect your camera via T2 thread (M42x0.75) to telescopes or filter wheels with M54x0.75 male thread.
Technical features:
- Telescope side thread: M54x0.75 (female), 5mm
- Camera side thread: M42x0.75 (T2, male), 4mm
- Optical train: 6mm (without taking into account the length of the T2 male thread)
- Adapter for telescopes with M54 connection, with conversion for connecting CCD cameras
- The adapter reduces the M54 male thread to a T2 male thread
Among others, there are two main fields of application:
- The adapter fits all telescopes with M54x0.75 male thread on the focuser. It provides a transition to T2. With the T2 adapter ring corresponding to your camera, you can directly connect your DSLR camera.
- The M54 thread is also common in CCD photography. Many filter wheels have this connection. This M54 / T2 adapter allows the connection of CCD cameras with T2 thread to these accessories.
