The lens of this apochromatic is composed of an air-gap triplet consisting of elements supplied by the famous Ohara (made in Japan), the central element is glass and Ohara Superapo-Fpl53.

4" rotating pinion eyepiece holder
This refractor uses a new range of 4" eyepiece holders, with integrated 360° rotator to always keep the objective in the correct position, thanks to the rack and pinion system, the eyepiece holder can withstand very heavy loads without torsional problems.
