QHYOAG includes a 1.25-inch precision helical focuser that supports our QHY5II and QHY5III cameras. The focusing process is convenient. After focusing, you can lock the focusing mechanism with thumbscrews.
Introduction
QHYOAG is a slim and solid design. The main body of the OAG is only 10mm thick. If an M42 thread or M54 adapter ring is added, the total thickness is only 3 mm, giving a total of 13 mm. There are six 3 mm through holes in the OAG for direct connection to QHYCFW and QHY A series cameras.
There is a focuser on the QHYOAG. It is used to adjust the focus of the guide. There is a thumb to lock the position. When focusing, release the thumb. After focusing well, lock it. Do not move the focus ring when it is locked to avoid damage. When locked, the focus ring may rotate slightly. This is normal and the focus does not change.
The light hole of the QHYOAG is 7 mm for the guide camera.
