The Celestron NV-2 night vision monocular is a palm-sized device that offers night vision viewing, still image and video recording, on-device playback and much more. It is the ideal tool for wildlife observation, security surveillance and a variety of other applications. The range allows for long distance viewing up to 200 meters. Best of all, you can capture and save photos and videos of all your discoveries on the NV-2's included 8 GB microSD memory card.
Lift the veil of darkness
See objects clearly near or far, even in the darkest night, and follow the movements of wildlife as they go about their nocturnal activities.
The NV-2 night vision monocular works in two ways depending on ambient lighting conditions. In total or near total darkness, the NV-2's infrared (IR) beam is activated to provide clear, detailed views. You can adjust the intensity of the IR beam to observe subjects at different distances more clearly. In low light conditions, such as at dawn and dusk, you can observe without activating the IR beam using the NV-2's low illumination CCD.
The Celestron NV-2 night vision monocular features a 640x480 VGA color display for enhanced image quality. The brightness of the display can be automatically adjusted according to the brightness of the environment.

want to record your nighttime observations? The NV-2 features still image and video recording capability. Save your photos and videos to the included 8 GB microSD memory card or replace the card with a microSD card of your own.
You can play back images and videos in the field or take your night vision scope home and transfer your recordings to your Mac or Windows PC via the USB 2.0 cable. The computer will automatically recognize the contents of the memory card. You will also receive an audio/video output cable to display your videos on the big screen, compatible with PAL and NTSC monitors.
Rugged construction for heavy use
The NV-2 night vision monocular features a durable polymer chassis with a thick rubber armor coating to protect the objective and eyepiece lenses. The scope is IPX4 waterproof, so you can use it with confidence in wet conditions or withstand splashes of water in the field. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the Celestron NV-2 night vision monocular for 2-3 hours of continuous use.
