The classic Newtonian reflecting telescope, named after its inventor, Isaac Newton. With these dimensions and this construction, it has been on the market for more than three decades and has amply demonstrated its power and efficiency. With an aperture of 114mm, this telescope offers a much higher brightness than refractor telescopes in the same price range. For this reason, it is especially preferred by beginners.
The 114/900optical system:
The 114mm mirror makes it possible to observe both planets and deep sky objects. Discover the rings of Saturn, the satellites of Jupiter or our neighboring planet Mars. Under favorable conditions (in opposition), you will discover surface structures. The tube is equipped with a 1.25" telescope that can be combined with all standard eyepieces . The focusing tube with eyepiece holder is equipped with a focusing wheel to accurately focus all objects precisely. With the finder mounted you can locate astronomical objects and fine tune the pointing of the main telescope. The finder is equipped with a reticle to center the objects.
Accessories included:
- 25mm eyepiece with 36x magnification factor
- 10mm eyepiece with magnification factor 90x
- 6x30 optical finder to easily search for astronomical objects
- 2x barlow lens.
Features:
- 114mm diameter, making it 2.5 times more powerful than a 70mm telescope
- 1.25'' eyepiece holder
- Adjustable optical system
The EQ-1 mount:
This equatorial mount allows for alignment with the North Star. The inclination of the polar axis can be adjusted according to the latitude without any problems. By fine movement of the right ascension and declination axes it is possible to smoothly adjust and track objects. A counterweight ensures the correct balance of the optical system.
We supply the EQ-1 mount in two variants, with floor tripod or table tripod; details can be found in the technical documentation. The floor tripod can be adjusted and positioned with a height between 70cm and 120 cm, in the accessory holder you can place eyepieces or other accessories. The table tripod is very compact and lightweight, making it the ideal choice for excursions or travel. The smaller EQ mount is extremely light and compact, it fits in almost every travel bag. Novice users can mount it without any problems, even children will be able to use it. As an option we offer a tracking motor for mounting on the straight ascent axis.
