The OMEGON N76/700 AZ-1 telescope is ideal for beginners in amateur astronomy. It is a fantastic gift for both children and adults with an excellent quality/price ratio.
The instrument can be assembled quickly, simply and without tools, living up to its motto: align, place the eyepiece and observe!
The N 76/700optical system:
The range of reflector telescopes for beginners starts with an aperture of 76mm. The Jupiter system with its four large Galilean satellites or Saturn's ring can be observed as well as countless lunar craters. The observer can even take space "excursions" to the Andromeda galaxy or the Orion nebula or other astronomical objects. Enter the world of the stars and enjoy completely different experiences.
With its 76mm objective diameter, the telescope has a potential 118 times larger than the human eye. The spherical mirror has a focal length of 700mm, the combination of mirror diameter and focal length provides high quality observations. The telescope comes with a 1.25" eyepiece holder that can be used with all modern 1.25" eyepieces. The fine adjustment of the eyepiece easily gives the optimum sharpness for observing the desired astronomical object.
Features:
- Compact reflector telescope
- Quick mounting
- Also suitable for children
- 1.25'' (31.8mm) eyepiece holder
- Exceeds the light potential of a 70mm telescope by approximately 18%
Supplied as standard with:
- Optical finder, 5x24mm
- Eyepieces SR 4mm, H 20mm, H 12.5 mm (1.25")
- Barlow lens, 2x (1.25")
- Reversing lens (1.25") -- For use as a spotting scope.
The AZ-1mount:
This is a very popular mount for first-time users because of its ease of use. The entire telescope can be moved smoothly in both azimuth and altitude. As a beginner, this brings with it the advantage that you do not have to engage in complicated presetting of the telescope. You can set up your telescope very quickly and easily: Position tripod and mount, mount the telescope and off you go! On the vertical axis you can move the tube by fine adjustment. The mount is mounted on a variable height aluminum tripod.
Supplied:
- AZ-1 altazimuth mount
- Sturdy aluminum tripod (variable height between 71cm and 121cm)
- Accessory-holder
