Friction system

The new friction system makes it easier to focus and track objects in the night sky with precision. Instead of Teflon pads, the shafts are equipped with needle bearings on the azimuthal and a ball bearing system on the elevation shaft. This way you can adjust your telescope with even less effort and it will follow your movements in all directions like silk. It will be useful for keeping celestial objects within your field of view even at high magnifications. The friction can be comfortably adjusted to your needs by means of a pair of aluminum hand wheels.

Easier adjustment of the center of gravity

Another advantage of the friction system is that adjusting the telescope's center of gravity is a much easier task. For example, when using heavy eyepieces, the system may no longer be able to compensate for the weight and may fall to one side.
