The PHOTON newtonian reflector from GSO with a 254 mm aperture and f/4 focal ratio is a fast astrophotographer for astrophotography and a powerful wide field telescope.
♦Aperture 254 mm / focal length 1016 mm / focal ratio F4
♦ Short exposure times - perfect also for nebula filters
♦ High quality parabolic primary mirror with improved reflectivity for a brighter image.
♦ Large secondary mirror for a well illuminated image: suitable for all common cameras and coma correctors.
♦ Enhanced 2" M-LRN Linear Power dual speed focuser with high payload.
♦Adjustable primary and secondary mirror cells made of metal, useful collimation aid on the primary mirror.
♦ Focusing position ready for observing with all popular eyepieces and for astrophotography.
♦ Extensive scope of delivery: 8x50 finder, tube rings, 2" extension tube for observation, dovetail bar.
♦ Get started faster with photography and observing thanks to the main mirror fan.
Astrophotography is easy for you with this newtonian from the TS-PHOTON series. Due to the focal ratio of f/4, this astrograph provides pure speed and therefore short exposure times. Of course, we also offer the matching coma corrector TS SUPERFLAT. Thus, this Newtonian PHOTON becomes a very good astrograph.
Immerse yourself in the world of deep sky observation with the PHOTON 10" f/4. The large aperture and the improved reflectivity of 94 % offer unforgettable observations beyond the solar system. Observe exciting details such as spiral arms of galaxies or fine structures in planetary nebulae.
♦Fast parabolic optics with excellent contrast and very good sharpness for planetary observations.
♦ High quality 2" M-LRN monorail focuser with dual 1:10 speed for 2" and 1.25" attachments. ♦
Perfect focusing position for DSLR and other cameras.
♦ All popular 1.25" and 2" eyepieces can be used without problems.
♦ Brighter image through improved 94% primary and secondary mirror reflectivity.
♦ Motorized focus can be adapted at any time.
♦ A 0.5mm thick stainless steel spider provides stability. Astrophotographers will envy it for the delicate, sharp peaks around bright stars.
♦ Active primary mirror ventilation provides distinctly faster cooling.
♦ Steerable primary mirror cell and all-metal secondary cell.
Only a good coma corrector turns this Newtonian into a true astrophotographer. Our recommendation is the TSGPU corrector which is perfect for this telescope. Itwill offer you maximum sharpness over the entire field, only with the TSGPU (see accessory recommendations) this newtonian becomes a real astrograph.
The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm .With a T-ring, it is automatically at the right distance for astrophotography with DSLR cameras. We can offer you suitable adaptations for your astronomical camera at any time within the context of our consultation.
