Filter set ZWO narrow band Ha, SII and OIII 7nm 36mm not mounted
The ZWO narrow band filters are a revolution in the market only matched by their fantastic cameras. With the narrow band filters ZWO the contrast between the deep sky object and the dark sky background is improved. In no case do they cause unnatural effects such as increasing the brightness of the deep sky object, as other filters of lower quality do.
Narrow band filters, as they only let through a certain wavelength (with an associated bandwidth that is usually also quite restrictive) do not let through any kind of light that is not interesting. Thus, for example, light from public lighting systems, which cause light pollution, cannot pass through these narrow band filters and thus high contrast photographs are obtained. They also eliminate other unwanted light such as SkyGlow that occurs naturally in our atmosphere due to the emission of the neutral oxygen present in the atmosphere.
The ZWO H-Alpha filter has a bandwidth of 7nm and allows light with a wavelength of 656nm to pass through. The transmission coefficient achieved is above 80%. Undoubtedly, in the tests performed with this filter by the Telescopiomania team, the H-alpha narrow band filter is a filter that will allow to obtain a great contrast in astrophotography allowing to reach rich details of nebulae even from places with high levels of light pollution. Just get ready for an infinite entertainment with this filter!!!
The ZWO SII filter has a bandwidth of 7nm and allows light with a wavelength of 672nm to pass through. The transmission coefficient achieved is over 80%. Undoubtedly, in the tests performed with this filter by the Telescopiomania team, the SII narrow band filter is a filter that will allow to obtain a great contrast in astrophotography allowing to reach rich details of nebulae. It is also suitable for visual observation of most emission nebulae, plentary nebulae and Supernova remnants. Use the ZWO SII filter in combination with the H-alpha and OIII filters (Hubble color palette) and you can have high contrast color images.
The ZWO O-III filter has a bandwidth of 7nm and allows light with a wavelength of 500nm to pass through. The transmission coefficient achieved is above 80%. Undoubtedly, in the tests performed with this filter by the Telescopiomania team, the OIII narrow band filter is a filter that will allow to obtain a great contrast in astrophotography allowing to reach rich details of nebulae. It is also suitable for visual observation of most emission nebulae, plentary nebulae and Supernova remnants. The ZWO OIII filter allows you to go a step beyond simple RGB and will allow you to photograph and observe your favorite nebulae no matter how polluted the sky is!
