Your Celestron kids microscope has some of the same features as a professional microscope, such as a mechanical platform for viewing your object, so kids will be ready for more complex instruments when they encounter them in a classroom or lab. Illuminating lights above and below the mechanical stage are perfect for viewing opaque or translucent subjects with stunning clarity.

With the microscope in hand, you'll have the power to get up close to specimens in the field without disturbing them, even if they're moving. Capture and share what you find with the smartphone adapter accessory. Simply slide the adapter over the eyepiece, place your phone in the rigid frame and remove it. Your phone will also provide magnification of the object you are observing.

The children's microscope Celestron comes with a slide prep kit that includes a forceps, an eyedropper, and three clear coverslips for reusable slides and a prepared slide; all make slide creation quick and easy.
