SCAM4K Camera Series

The SCAM4K series cameras are the new generation of live image systems with 4K (video) resolution at 30 FPS. They feature a Sony Exmor CMOS sensor with high sensitivity, low dark current and no smearing, which is achieved through the use of R, G and B primary color mosaic filters.

A standardC-mount interface ensures maximum compatibility with various microscopy systems. The cameras can be used as a stand-alone system without a PC in conjunction with an HDMI monitor or TV, or data can be transmitted live to a PC via WiFi (Wlan)/ USB 3.0 for image and video recording. Hardware functions for 3D denoising and control of sharpness and tone mapping significantly improve image and video quality.

The included Windows software offers image development and measurement tools as well as advanced compositing functions such as image stitching and advanced depth of field. Thanks to the ability to calibrate scales at various magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspections.

For Mac and Linux, a lite version of the software is available that can capture video and still images and includes limited editing functions.

The SCAM4K series cameras are designed to capture digital images from stereo microscopes, biological microscopes or for interactive online teaching.

All cameras in the series include the advanced ToupView/ToupLite video and image processing application. It is compatible with Windows/Linux/macOS/Android (Native C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, DirectShow, Twain, etc).
