Touptek planetary and deep-sky Camera -How to successfully photograph planets and nebulae
Imagine being able to take sharp planetary images on the first try, something every astrophotographer desires. Maybe you have a long experience using simple webcams with their noisy images? It's time for a new experience! The Touptek 300KMA planetary camera allows you to successfully obtain much sharper images of a quality previously only possible for experienced planetary photographers.
The advantages in a nutshell
- maximum resolution - monochrome planetary camera
- as fast as film - 72 frames per second
- approximately twice as sensitive as a normal chip camera * - low noise - RMS 4.5
- low noise - RMS 4.5-e
- also works perfectly with an IR band-pass filter - for imaging Venus, for example
The ICX 618 CCD sensor is one of the most sensitive on the planetary camera market.
Whereas longer exposure times used to be necessary, this chip takes your favorite objects practically in the blink of an eye, as high sensitivity translates into short exposure times. This CCD chip is about twice as sensitive as the ICX098BQ* chip used in many cameras.
72 frames per second: make the most of those still air moments
One of the most important features is the fast readout time, as this camera can acquire up to 72 frames per second. And despite this, the sensitive electronics provide a brilliant image of your planet. As a comparison, cheap entry-level cameras can only acquire a maximum of 30 frames per second. So it's easy to see why you can easily acquire sharper images with the Touptek 618.
