This version of the 290 light is a tripod with head for vloggers and journalists on the move that incorporates the new Befree live fluid video head. This video tripod kit combines great features, innovative design details and durability. The new befree live head provides professional fluid pan and tilt movement, ensuring an intuitive video tripod. A smart, compact and lightweight design, especially easy to transport.
Among some of its design features for ease of handling, the aluminum leg tubes are built to remain completely rigid once deployed. The upper structure further enhances its stability, and the leg section locks provide great flexibility, as they can be tightened if necessary. This makes this fluid ball head tripod reliable even when using it for a long time. We can have great flexibility to create the perfect video recording by adjusting the two leg angles. The rubber leg warmer designed by Manfrotto increases the grip and makes it very practical.
This tripod also integrates the most compact and lightweight video fluid head in the Manfrotto range. The Befree Live head has a long sliding shoe for perfect balance with current models of camcorders, DSLRs or mirrorless/CSC, and we can achieve excellent fluid pan and tilt movements thanks to the fluid cartridge system inherited from the video head range of Manfrotto. The Befree Live head is extremely portable and weighs only 0.38kg, yet can weigh up to a whopping 4kg, giving us the ability to better control our movements during video shoots.
