Filter ZWO IR-Cut 1,25
ZWO IR-UV cut filter suitable for color cameras with protection window.
The ZWO IR-Cut filter blocks infrared light from being detected by the sensor of your CCD or CMOS camera. When doing astrophotography with this filter you will get sharper images and when doing solar work, the IR-Cut filter will protect the H-alpha filter from being damaged by the effects of infrared radiation.
IR light is invisible to the human eye and for that reason most telescopes are not designed to focus IR light. This does not affect it at all when we do visual observation, but when you start doing astrophotography with a camera it changes!!! Unlike the human eye, the silica sensor is very sensitive to infrared light and this becomes a problem because the images appear slightly distorted. This problem can be easily solved by blocking the infrared spectrum and the IR-Cut filter from ZWO will do this function fantastically.
The ZWO IR-Cut filter comes in a 1.25" cell and has internal threads so you can stack filters together. The filter is supplied with a protective plastic case.
