Adjustable LED Panel
Unlike other panels on the market, the FlatMaster can adjust its brightness from 0 to 100%. Forget about sheets of paper between the telescope and the panel. Control the brightness of your panel remotely. Save the brightness per filter and immediately recall the value you need.
The Flatmaster 150L can reach very high brightness levels, allowing short exposures (2-3 seconds at f/7) with 3 nm narrow band image filters.
Retractable panel
The panel can be remotely controlled and adjusted between 0° and 270°. To avoid collisions with obstacles, you can set a custom maximum aperture angle.
Designed to fit any telescope up to 125 mm, FlatMaster Neo features a specialized silicone flange that ensures a light- and dust-tight seal around the optical elements.
In addition, this flange helps protect the surrounding area (e.g., in a shared observatory) when the LED is illuminated during flat-frame calibration.
Single-cable operation - Hand-held button
A single USB Type-C cable powers and controls the panel/lid. A manual button allows the lid to be opened and closed.
Spray heater and sensors
The device panel features an integrated spray heater that actively removes moisture when fully on, ensuring a dry, dew-free surface. This prevents water droplets from being trapped between the lid and the telescope lens after closing the lid.
In addition, a built-in temperature and humidity sensor automatically adjusts the heater according to calculated dew point levels. You can turn this function on or off as needed or manually set and save the heater intensity.
An integrated light sensor further enhances automation by automatically closing the lid at sunrise.
Wi-Fi control and separate control panel
The device has built-in Wi-Fi, allowing it to be connected and controlled via its own Wi-Fi access point or as a client on an existing network.
Its integrated web control panel can be accessed from any mobile app, providing intuitive and seamless control.
ASCOM and ASCOM Alpaca
The device is fully compatible with ASCOM 7 and ASCOM Alpaca.
