Filtyro Antlia H-Beta 3nm Pro narrow band Filtyro Antlia H-Beta 3nm Pro - 2'' mounted
The Antlia H-Beta Pro narrowband filter optimizes the FWHM at a bandpass of 3 nm. As the bandwidth narrows, these 3 nm Pro narrow band filters improve the contrast of emission objects by effectively reducing unwanted background signals.

Designed to achieve an impressive 88% transmission at the 486.1 nm line, Antlia H-Beta 3nm Pro filters provide maximum signal and well-defined nebula structures. The out-of-band blocking specification is rated at OD5 (0.001%), ensuring excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and effective cut-off rates to minimize interference from other wavelengths. These enhanced 3nm Pro filters for sharp cut-off astrophotography are specifically designed to reduce halos around bright stars.
The Antlia 3nm Pro series currently comprises Ha, SII, OIII and H-Beta filters that capture exceptionally narrow four-channel data, allowing a wider range of combinations in post-production to meet your diverse requirements.
Importantly, Antlia also offers dual narrowband filters designed for OSC cameras: the ALP-T Dualband Ha&OIII 3nm and the SII&Hb 3.5nm. The synergy of these two dual-band filters allows capturing exceptionally narrowband images with OSC cameras by acquiring spectral data from four channels: Ha, OIII, SII and Hb. Spectra from these four channels can be separated and recombined into various color palettes during post-processing. The resulting images can enhance the luminance contrast in traditional balanced RGB images or facilitate the creation of visuals in various popular false color palettes, such as H-O-Hb, S-H-O, H-S-OHb, H-O-O-O, and others.
Key features and application
- High transmittance and minimum bandwidth to maximize contrast
- Pronounced spectral profile minimizes halos around bright stars
- Single substrate to eliminate internal reflections
- Narrow band objects: H-Beta emission nebulae
- Use in light-polluted areas and dark locations
- Extends imaging time when moon is present
- All Antlia Pro narrowband filters can be used down to f/3 with minimal signal loss
- All unmounted Antlia Narrowband filters are edge-blackened to eliminate internal stray light reflections
- Superior optical reliability reduces image post-processing
- This filter is only effective for deep sky objects containing H-Beta emissions
