ALTAIR ASTRO adapter for column Skywatcher Celestron &amp iOptron

The new Altair Astro CNC machined aluminum column adapter is used to attach the following equatorial mounts to your Altair SkyShed column or other mounts:

• Altair Sabre mount
• iOptron mounts CEM70, CEM60, CEM40, GEM45 & iEQ45
• Skywatcher EQ6 & EQ6-R EQ6 (aka Orion Atlas)
• Skywatcher HEQ5 & EQ5
• Skywatcher EQ3-2
• Celestron CGEM
• Celestron CGEM-DX
• Celestron CG-5 and CG-4
• Generic Chinese EQ5 mounts such as the "Astro-5 EQ" mount
• Meade LXD75 (due to mount model variations, please email us to confirm dimensions)
• Various mounts Vixen (due to mount variations, please email us to confirm dimensions)

The column adapter has 4 M8 recessed holes around the outer perimeter for attachment to the column plate in various positions.

The column adapter is designed to add 30mm height to the mount in order to clear the top plate of the column.

Included are 4 corrosion resistant stainless steel bolts and nuts for quick and easy installation.

The column adapter is anodized in clear silver for durability (We chose silver because, being a tough part, black anodizing shows inevitable scratches).

Use of the azimuth (rotation) stop for each type of mount:

There is an additional threaded hole for the EQ6 azimuth stop bolt that can be removed from the field tripod and screwed into the column adapter.
