Product Details

Simply attach the Vixen mini clamp to your camera tripod using the standard 1/4" UNC threaded "photo tripod" hole located on the bottom of the clamp.

Perfect for mounting Star Trackers telescopes. The quick release cam is much easier to use than a threaded knob, especially with gloves on!

These clamps can be attached to Altair 100mm guide telescope rings for quick and easy mounting of guide telescopes or secondary imaging telescopes on your main telescope.

Ideal for travel and stargazing with a photo or video tripod, or even for using your telescope as a daytime spotting scope* or for solar observing.

The Altair clamp format Vixen is rugged yet lightweight, and spring-loaded with 2 steel alignment pins.
CNC machined from e-coated aluminum.
Quick release cam is easy to use and faster than a conventional threaded knob.
Double dovetail clamp compatible with Vixen and Arca-Swiss. Vise-type clamping action for heavy lenses - stronger than many quick release systems used on professional camera tripods.
M6 and 1/4" threaded holes in base. See hole diagram for more information.
Available in green, blue and red, as well as Altair mounting plates.
