INDIGO PegasusAstro Off-Axis Guide

New helical focuser add-on providing precise focusing capabilities and perfect compatibility with the 1.25" guiding cameras commonly available on the market.

The reference PegausAstro PEG-INDIGO-OAGPREM includes the OAG body + helical focuser on top.

Slim design

Indigo OAG has a very slim design. Its back focus is 10mm + 4mm from the telescope adapter. 14mm in total. The OAG is CNC machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum alloy, ensuring a light and solid unit.

Adjustable prism

The prism height can be easily adjusted to allow better illumination of the guidance camera field of view. If the imaging camera sensor is large, the prism can be moved (and fixed with set screws) upwards so as not to block the optical path of the sensor.

Large mirror

A 12×8 mm fully multi-reflective and anti-reflection 12×8 mm mirror provides great illumination for your guidance camera. Stars are round and bright across the entire field of the OAG.

Large Size

Indigo OAG supports the 62 mm through-hole pattern for direct connection to the latest CMOS cameras and Filter Wheels.

The guide camera connection is a 1.25" barrel.

Image train framing orientation can be achieved by the 3 screws that allow the scope adapter to slide into the slots.

Robust design for heavy loads of imaging equipment

The thickness is 10 mm and the design is solid enough to support heavy imaging equipment.

The clear aperture is 53.5 mm.

Included in the package is

• one M54F threaded adapter for telescope connection (adds 4mm thickness).
• m48F threaded adapter for camera connection (adds 4mm thickness).

Helical Focuser

The Premium package(PEG-INDIGOPREM) includes a pre-installed helical focuser, which provides precise focusing capabilities and perfect compatibility with the 1.25" guiding cameras commonly available on the market.

The helical focuser can also be added separately to existing Indigo OAGs by purchasing the PEG-INDIGO-OAGHF, enabling precise focusing functionality as an upgrade.

Indigo filter wheel combination

The OAG Indigo can be mounted directly on the Indigo filter wheel.

A combination of both products adds 19 mm + 14 mm (33 mm total) of backfocus optical distance.
