Product Introduction
The 15028HNT-AL is a hyperbolic Newtonian reflector with an aperture of 150mm and a fast focal ratio of F2.8.
The 15028HNT-AL supports a 44 mm full frame image circle, and the stellar performance is stellar.
The primary mirror is made of glass similar to Pyrex PZ33. The thermal expansion coefficient is lower than that of ordinary glass. The dielectric multilayer coating gives the primary mirror a reflection capability of up to 97%. The diameter of the minor axis of the secondary mirror is 70 mm, allowing sufficient illumination for full-frame images. The focuser corrector adopts a triple lens design, one of which is an ED glass, improving the aberration correction power.
The 15028HNT-AL further improves the stability of the optical axis structure of the primary mirror, and there are three sets of adjustment screws on the bottom of the lens tube to adjust the angle of the primary mirror.
15028HNT-AL improves the structure of the secondary mirror bracket to make it more stable. The secondary mirror holder is machined by CNC, integrated manufacturing without misalignment, which guarantees beautiful diffraction peaks during astrophotography.
On the side of the objective tube is a viewfinder base that provides additional mounting positions for viewfinders or other astronomical accessories.
The tube ring of the 15028HNT-AL is strong and durable. Enlarged thumbscrews allow users to open and close the tube ring without additional tools.
The focuser of the 15028HNT-AL is a large rigid dual-speed rack and pinion focuser, which ensures as much 2 cm focusing travel as possible within structural constraints and can be compatible with most motorized focusers. The front of the focuser is designed with a camera rotator that can rotate the focuser as a whole, the focuser has a built-in triplet corrector. The structure of the focuser is very stable and can support 3kg.
The rear focus of the 15028HNT-AL is standard 55mm (M48 thread).
*The 15028HNT-AL focuser is shipped locked. Users should be sure to loosen the locking screws before initial use to avoid damage to the part.
