The GreenLine MEDIUM-32 and 44 rolling platform observatories have a footprint of 2.25 x 2.25 m and can accommodate telescopes up to 14 inches (if you plan well, even a 16-inch can fit here!). This is a fairly large observatory with ample space for optional tables, work surface and storage shelves along the walls. This is truly a dream come true.

Optional roof drive and control systems make this an excellent and versatile remote control.

Again we recommend our optional wood treatment to prepare the observatory against weather, fungus and insects.

AN ADDITIONAL PLUS: all GreenLine Roll-Off observatories come fully prepared for our SEMI and FULL electric roof drives: toothed gears, pulleys, steel cables and adjustable counterweights are all in the package!

They are an absolutely cost-effective alternative for those who do not want, or for whatever reason, cannot have a cupola. This type of observatory has all the advantages of a dome observatory: a vast, nearly unrestricted night sky and easy operation. Most GreenLIne rolling observatories are delivered as a do-it-yourself kit.
