The revolutionary new collimator for your telescope. Ideal for collimating short focal length astrophotography optical systems and high sensitivity cameras with extremely small pixels. These systems require very precise telescope alignment.

The Ocal collimator is an innovative tool that facilitates alignment in a completely new way.

Each Ocal collimator has an internal motor that moves the chip linearly. Software can be used to fine-tune the focus during the individual alignment steps. You can align each element of the telescope without affecting the configuration or the imaging chain. The colored centering circles can be selected and adjusted using the accompanying software. The software also controls the thickness of the outline of the circles, as well as the contrast and exposure of the live recording. Finally, a cross can be activated and rotated using the software. In this way, all elements requiring collimation can be focused and aligned concentrically and very precisely. The cross can also be used to evaluate the exact linear orientation of the secondary mirror spider.

Each collimator is checked by our supplier prior to delivery, after which each OCAL receives an inspection stamp - do not remove this stamp!
