TS system focuser for telescope upgrading and self-build telescopes

The focuser is ideal for Cassegrain, SCT or refractor telescopes. It is also interesting for Newtonian telescopes, if sufficient working distance is available. The focuser is designed for astrophotography, it can be loaded with accessories up to 5 kg without tilting.

The advantages and product features of the RAP2DEL focuser:

• Two internal threads are available for connection of a viewfinder shoe.

Corrector screw connection via the M54x0.75 thread:

If the corrector is screwed to the focuser, tilting is prevented. Many correctors offer the M54x0.75 connection thread on the telescope side. This allows it to be screwed on without any problems.

By simply unscrewing the 2" adapter a M54x0.75 female thread is available. This makes the focuser even shorter by 15 mm. Of course, there are also adapters for other connection threads, such as M48, M63 or M68.

Adapting the focuser to the telescopes:

The RAP2DEL is equipped with a ring dovetail (male) on the telescope side. The dovetail has a diameter of 70 mm at the thickest point and a depth of 6 mm. We offer ready-to-use adapters, e.g. for Newtonian telescopes from GSO, Teleskop-Service or Skywatcher, but also for RC telescopes from GSO, AstroTech and Teleskop-Service (M90 or M117). Especially attractive is the adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron or Meade. Other adapters are under development, e.g. for different refracting telescopes.
