Following the success of the VEO 3 series, Vanguard introduces the VEO 5 tripod series. Using advanced CNC technology, we have lightened the tripod structure, creating lightweight and strong parts without compromising its integrity and efficiency.
The canopy has been reduced and the hexagonal center column optimizes storage, reduces the size of the outer diameter and facilitates transport.
In addition, the divisible central column system allows you to adjust the desired height with a simple unscrew. For low-angle photography, it is only necessary to loosen the screws of the center column and remove its lower end, eliminating the need to remove and reattach the head. This ensures a smoother and more versatile photographic experience, adapting to the needs of the moment without losing functionality.
The VEO 5 234AO26 is an aluminum tripod with 4 sections, with a maximum diameter of 23mm. The legs can be opened in 3 different opening angles 23º-50º-80º by means of a silent button, so that it can be used in different positions and adjust the level to any unevenness of the ground if necessary.
The VEO 5 series stands out for its excellent performance, optimized weight/load ratio and portability. The Veo 5 234AO26 model goes from 133cm standard height to 159cm with the column extended; it folds up to 54.6cm.
The leg sections can be removed, which facilitates optimal cleaning of the stand, especially after use in adverse conditions or in sandy, dusty or damp locations. In this way, the tripod can be maintained, extending its durability for a longer period of time.
The Veo 5 series has retractable rubber feet and spikes, which means that, with a few turns, we can switch from one type to another according to the needs of the ground.
The VEO 5 234AO26 tripod kit includes the Veo PH-26 telescope head, ARCA compatible, with telescoping handle for one-handed locking and release. Perfect for digiscoping and wildlife and nature observation. The kit also includes a padded carrying bag along with Allen wrenches that allow you to make necessary adjustments to the tripod.
The VEO 5 series offers options for all users looking for a reliable support for their equipment, be it a camera, camcorder, or spotting scope. Therefore, it is available with different ARCA head options: ball head, 2/3-way, panning or video head. The base of the column has a 3/8" screw convertible to 1/4", so you can easily interchange the heads according to your needs at any time.
