The AR axis has a built-in braking system. When power is disconnected from the mount, this brake is activated to prevent "backlash".

It gives the RST-300 a texture that protects it against corrosion, robust and lightweight at the same time.

Wi-Fi is integrated. You can control the mount with your cell phone via the SkySafari app.

The ASCOM controller can be connected both via WLAN and USB. The GoTo and auto guidance functionalities are now wireless.

It also incorporates a GPS receiver. The position and time of the observation location can be entered accurately and conveniently.
