The Takahashi FOA-60Q refractor has been designed to provide a compact instrument capable of exceptional visual performance, similar to that achieved by the TOA series, a true reference in this field. Equipped with a doublet of fluorite apochromatic lenses with an F/D ratio of 15, the FOA-60Q will satisfy the most demanding amateurs. It is still very light, weighing only 2.4 kg, and very compact thanks to its retractable spray shield.

Optical tube Takahashi FS-60Q (tube only without accessories)
The FS-60Q is simply the best scope in the Takahashi range, with its 99.8% theoretical Strehl ratio, superior to those of the TOA-130 and TOA-150. The built-in 1.7X extender can be removed, reducing the F/D ratio to 8.8 and transforming the refractor into a FOA-60.
The FS-60Q is a fluorite apochromatic refractor with a four-lens system that delivers a completely flat field. This telescope incorporates the 1.7x CQ module that converts the FS-60C refractor to F/10. This CQ module can also be purchased separately to convert any FS-60C telescope to the FS-60Q version. Clamp and finder are not included.
In this version only the tube is supplied without accessories.
