Fan TS for primary mirror on newton telescopes
Primary Mirror Fan TS-Optics for Mirror Telescopes
Accelerate the temperature adaptation of your telescope by approximately 50% with this lightweight and quiet fan. It will also reduce so-called "Tube seeing" by introducing a constant but gentle airflow. The image quality of the telescope is improved and it is ready for use more quickly.
Using the four included screws, the fan is simply installed on the back of the primary mirror cell. Double-sided adhesive tape can also be used.
Alternative use with closed back
Mount the fan so that it does not blow air, but sucks it in. This makes sense with a telescope that has a closed back. As a result, hot air is quickly removed from the system.
This primary mirror fan shortens the temperature adaptation time of your Newton telescope and thus allows for faster use.
♦ The fan is installed behind the primary mirror and transports cool air to the rear of the mirror.
♦ Shortens the temperature adaptation time to approximately 50% of the usual time.
♦ Quiet 12 V vibration-free fan allows operation during observation or photography through the telescope.
♦ Complete kit with battery holder, cable and fixing screws.
♦ Simple installation - ideal also for self-build
♦ Power supply via 8 common batteries (D-cell batteries)
Technical specifications:
- Fan dimensions: 80 x 80 x 25 mm
- Hole spacing for installation 71 x 71 mm
- Power supply: 12 V DC (via 8 standard batteries - D-cells/mono-cells)
