New APO 61EDPH V3 bezel
The 61EDPH series has long been popular among astrophotography enthusiasts, in order to have a better user experience for users, Sharpstar has optimized the 61EDPHI Ⅱ and released a new version - the 61EDPH Ⅲ.
The 61EDPH Ⅲ has more diverse functions and better performance.
It is an excellent choice not to be missed by astrophotographers.
The new 61EDPH Ⅲ still has high quality optical standards as before and adopts APO triplet airspace design.
Compared with 61EDPHⅡ, it has changed to 2 low-dispersion ED glass elements for high imaging performance. It not only can be applied to visual observation, but also can provide better quality astrophotography images.
The 61EDPH Ⅲ has a focal length of 360mm, an original focal ratio of 5.9 (without the reducer) and supports 44mm full-frame image circle. It is a high quality portable telescope.
New ergonomics
The 61EDPHⅢ has improved the handle of the 61EDPHⅡ to become a multi-functional handle, which supports vixen-type universal dovetails (small format finder-type). In addition, the 61EDPHⅢ is equipped with a 200mm long dovetail, which is easier to connect to equatorial mounts and accessories, and makes the tube easier to balance on the mount.
The look is smooth and natural lines, with the classic red and white color palette, very simple and generous. The tube uses high quality CNC machining, high quality surface painting and elaborate and durable polished oxidation.
The 61EDPH Ⅲ special full-size reducer: one end of the thread is M68×1, connected to the eyepiece holder on the viewfinder side; the other end has an M48×0.75 thread and has a built-in 2" filter thread. The back focus is 55 mm.
If enlargement is desired, the adapter can be removed to expose the M54×0.75 male thread, and the back focus will then be 75 mm. The eyepiece holder will then support the 4-element air-gap corrector, allowing for full-frame imaging.
With the reducer, focal ratio of and focal length reduced to 270 mm, it is the first choice for deep-sky astrophotography.
The new 61EDPH Ⅲ has received extensive modifications on the main lens, exterior design and accessories, it is a telescope with high performance and versatility to meet the shooting needs of different users and provide a better shooting experience.
