The microscope BMS D3 has high-resolution objectives and two wide-field (WF) eyepieces with flat optics.
The optics allow the user to view clear, colorful and high-contrast images. The stability of the microscope is ensured by the solid design of the stand and its base. In addition, the stand has a large window at the rear.
The microscope BMS D3 is equipped with a large, rack-free stage and an integrated movable specimen holder. Its large working surface of 144 x 200 mm allows easy positioning of two slides at the same time. The integrated X-Y specimen holder is easy to use thanks to the ergonomically positioned coaxial controls.
The Abbe condenser is easy to exchange with various accessories, such as darkfield or phase contrast condensers. The condenser can be adjusted in height using the zipper system.
All optical surfaces (eyepiece and objectives) are coated with an anti-fungus coating.
The new generation of LED illumination provides comfort and rest for the eye. The LED spectrum is equal to daylight and is adjustable in intensity. The LED light source is comparable to a 30 W halogen light source.

• 10x/22 mm high wide field eyepieces, anti-fungus coated, superior optical parts to ensure bright and clear, sharp and true color image. Flexible, foldable eyecups complete it all.
• Inverted quad nosepiece, with high-resolution Infinity ePlan DIN objectives and rubber grip ring. You can easily check which objective is in use and change magnifications without other objectives getting in the way.
• A large frameless stage with coaxially controlled low-position XY mechanical stage and vernier, dual-slide specimen holder. Fine adjustment mechanical stage for optimal slide positioning.
• Ergonomically positioned bilateral fine and coarse focusing mechanism. For precise and effortless focusing.
• New-generation, stable, flicker-free, energy-saving 3-watt LED. With daylight output for optimum eye comfort. Lighthouse is equipped with an iris diaphragm.
• The microscope offers 3 types of electrical use in a microscope as standard: 100~230V connection via the included power cord. Automatically recharges while connected to mains power. Rechargeable batteries available as accessory (item number 29554; AA rechargeable battery, pack of three), Standard non-rechargeable batteries, type AA, 1.5 V, 3 pieces.
• The main switch is located on the back and the light intensity control knob is located on the side. All for ease of use.

• Objectives: DIN ePlan High Resolution Infinity, 4x (N.A. 0.10), 10x (N.A. 0.25), 40x (N.A. 0.65), 100x (N.A. 1.25) oil immersion. The 40x and 100x objectives are spring loaded (to protect the slide).
• Focusing: coaxial coarse and fine adjustment on both sides. Fine adjustment is supplied with a scale division. Each division equals 0.0015 mm (0.30 mm/rotation).
• Platen: Unscratched, 144 x 200 mm, suitable for two slides at a time. Equipped with an integrated movable specimen holder with ergonomically placed coaxial controls for precise X-Y movement. Scope 77 x 32 mm.
• Condenser: Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) in the holder, with centering screws. Height adjustable by rack and pinion. With iris diaphragm (0 - 100% adjustable).
• Illumination: New generation LED (3 watt) with Köhler iris diaphragm. The light intensity is continuously variable by means of a potentiometer. Intensity comparable to that of a 30 W halogen.
• LED lifetime: approx. 50,000 hours
• Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x. Optionally upgradeable to 2000x.
• Voltage: 90 ~ 240 V/50 Hz. The electrical circuit is protected by a fuse system (or optional batteries).
