The Omegon Kolossus is a new parallelogram mount for large binoculars. This makes stargazing comfortable and your binoculars feel almost weightless and as if they are floating. This is ensured by the three-part swivel arm, 360-degree rotation and mechanics that perfectly balance the heavy devices. For relaxed and exciting observations that provide pure enjoyment.

What can the parallelogram mount do?
How is it different from other tripod or fork mounts? Normal tripods have several disadvantages. They are often unstable, too low and uncomfortable to view. A fork mount only makes sense for binoculars with angled scopes, but what about large binoculars with straight scopes? How can they be used to enjoy astronomy? By using a parallelogram mount. This is nimble, intuitive to use, and has a strong metal arm that holds your binoculars at all heights and in all positions. Like a Dobsonian telescope for binoculars.

Always perfectly positioned
The new parallelogram mount design holds your large binoculars in any position you want. From horizon to zenith: Easily reach all parts of the sky. No set screws, levers or the like. Simply point your binoculars at the desired celestial object at night, and they will stay firmly in position.

Two handles to keep everything close at hand
The large binoculars sit on L-rails with two handles that can be easily used, even when wearing gloves. Small turns and adjustments to the field of view can be made via two freely maneuverable axes.

Standing, sitting, lying down. High or low. Everything is possible.
You can decide whether you are standing, sitting or lying down while observing. Tall and short can observe together without having to adjust the height of the tripod. Place the large binoculars in the desired position and observe as you are most comfortable.

Weight is of no importance. High load capacity with counterweights.
A counterweight shaft 86 centimeters long and two counterweights of 3.7 kilograms each. This means that you can perfectly balance your large binoculars and use them as if they weighed almost nothing.
