The iEXOS-100 is a lightweight astronomical mount with Goto and Wifi, ideal for visual use with small telescopes or for astrophotography using SLR cameras with lenses of all types (from wide angle to telephoto lenses), as it incorporates the revolutionary PMC-Eight ™ precision tracking system (exclusive to Explore Scientific) that allows effortless finding of thousands of celestial objects and tracking with high precision, offering excellent performance at a highly competitive price.

The PMC-Eight electronic tracking system is controlled by the ExploreStars application developed by Explore Scientific for use with laptops or tablets, being available for Windows, Android and iOS. Its intuitive interface allows you to quickly align the telescope and navigate through the constellations, having a wealth of information on tens of thousands of celestial objects. This application is dynamic, as its database is regularly updated to ensure it remains a reliable source of information.

Free ASCOM POTH is also available from Explore Scientific (wired or wirelessly connected) so that it can be controlled by virtually any astronomical software compatible with the ASCOM standard.

The PMC-Eight ™ allows the telescope to be controlled from several meters away or to communicate from one computer to another from virtually anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.

It is a German equatorial mount, which avoids the effect of field rotation in astrophotography sessions and is characterized by its excellent accuracy in keeping objects centered in the instrument's field of view for long periods of time, all without the need to carry heavy mounts. This makes it ideal for nomadic astronomers and astrophotographers who want a high-performance, lightweight yet rugged mount to work from inaccessible locations with a vehicle.

The iEXOS-100 has non-slip clamps that allow you to easily move your telescope and a fine latitude adjustment system. The mount incorporates a small polar alignment scope, which is necessary for good quality tracking. It also incorporates a simple bubble level to help level the tripod, as well as the battery holder bracket for 8 C-type units (not included). Attachment of small spotting scopes or DSLR cameras is done with a standard dovetail type Vixen.
