10Micron GM 3000 HPS Mount

The 10MICRON HPS mounts are fast and among the most accurate mounts on the market but are smaller in size than their QCI predecessors and designed with portability in mind. The 10MICRON HPS mounts feature accuracy equivalent to that of direct-drive mounts because they integrate a high-precision encoder system in their axes.

The new 10MICRON GM 3000 HPS mount has a load capacity of up to 100 kg. It includes high-resolution encoders, motors, controller and counterweight bar.

The 10MICRON 3000 HPS mount model has a speed that allows satellite tracking with a displacement of 12 degrees/second. Its average positioning accuracy is less than 20" and it has a tracking accuracy of 1"/15 minutes (peak-to-peak). With the tests performed by our technicians at Telescopiomania, the 10MICRON 3000 HPS mount has a behavior in which it never loses position even if the axes are moved by hand, thanks to its encoder system. It is remarkable that even if the power supply is lost, once it is recovered, a new alignment is not necessary.
