Mount 10Micron GM 2000 HPS II Combi
The 10MICRON HPS mounts are fast and among the most accurate mounts on the market but are smaller in size than their QCI predecessors and designed with portability in mind. The 10MICRON HPS mounts have an accuracy equivalent to that of direct drive mounts because they integrate a high precision encoder system in their axes.
The 10MICRON 2000 HPS II mount model has a highly engineered motion technology that provides extremely accurate tracking, with a guaranteed average error of
. The electronic control system of the HPS II mount is realized with the QCI system. 10Micron is one of the few mount manufacturers that allows its mounts an independent electronic system to replace the computer or laptop:
- Carries control with AMD Microprocessors through a Linux firmware, offering a very large hand controller functionality. It includes a sky modeling functionality as an extreme positioning accuracy function, with a final accuracy of a few arcseconds. It also allows locating comet positions and satellite orbits, to calculate and track - without the need for a computer.
The German 10MICRON GM2000 HPS II equatorial mount has TWO REMOVABLE AXES so it is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled allowing easy transport to the observation site.
The counterweights, clamps and dovetail are not included as standard but can be purchased as an option depending on the final configuration. In Telescopiomania we can advise you on what is needed.
