The 10MICRON HPS mounts are fast and among the most accurate mounts on the market but are smaller in size than their QCI predecessors and designed with portability in mind. The 10MICRON HPS mounts have an accuracy equivalent to that of direct drive mounts because they integrate a system of high precision encoders in their axes.

The 10MICRON 1000 HPS mount model has a speed that allows it to track satellites with a displacement of 20 degrees/second. Its average positioning accuracy is less than 20" and it has a tracking accuracy of 0.5"/15 minutes (peak-to-peak). With the tests performed by our technicians at Telescopiomania, the 10MICRON 1000 HPS mount shows a behavior in which it never loses position even if the axes are shifted by hand, thanks to its encoder system. It is remarkable that even if the power supply is lost, once it is recovered there is no need for a new alignment.

Its compact format makes it easily transportable to the observation site.

The 10MICRO HPS mount is supplied with the control unit, motors, connecting cables, counterweight bar and a protective cover. It is also supplied with a tripod/column adapter (1451090), standard plate adapter (to adapt to tripods and columns of other manufacturers), female dovetail mount Losmandy and a transport box with high density foam to properly protect the equipment.
