The EXOS 1 (EQ4) mount is a German equatorial mount, which is supplied together with its corresponding tripod, and is offered as standard in those telescope ranges Bresser intended for beginners. For this reason, the Bresser EXOS 1 mount can usually be found with small optical tubes to ensure stable operation.

These combinations offer more added value to the product for the same price and put an end to those entry-level telescopes that discourage rather than help potential amateurs because of too flimsy mounts.

The EXOS 1 with a sturdy steel tripod can carry tubes weighing up to 7kg and remain stable for visual observation. The optional tracking motor for the AR axis can make its use even more comfortable, as it will not require manual tracking to keep the observed object within the field of view of the telescope Bresser.
