Equatorial Mount Pack Celestron CGX-L 91531 with customized introductory course for saddles
IN TELESCOPIOMANIA WE OFFER YOU NOW TOGETHER WITH YOUR MOUNT, OUR PERSONALIZED COURSE OF INITIATION OF MOUNTS FOR ASTRONOMICAL AND PHOTOGRAPHIC OBSERVATION.
Celestron introduces the newly designed CGX-L equatorial mount, the latest addition to its series of fully computerized equatorial mounts.
Capable of supporting the largest optical tubes in the world Celestron with ease of use, the CGX-L is designed for demanding users who want maximum accuracy in a transportable package and who are looking for an exceptional load capacity to mount weight ratio. All this is achieved through its new, highly compact design with innovative features that support large telescopes, astrophotographic configurations and the latest in wireless technology.
The main objectives of the designers of Celestron included larger, 144 mm diameter gears that provide smoother operation and can more accurately move heavier loads. The mount incorporates a dovetail base of over 270 mm to support larger optical tubes, precision remote operation features such as "home" position and motion limits triggered by optical sensors, and better overall cable management to prevent interlocking. In addition to all this, mechanical and ergonomic improvements have been introduced in the CGX-L mount offered by Telescopiomania to make this fantastic equipment more robust, easier to use and easier to transport.
Its outstanding features are:
- Increased load capacity of 34 kg. Exceptional weight/load ratio
- Additional auxiliary port and auto routing port on the Dec axis for better cable management
- Large 144 mm diameter gears to move heavier loads with greater precision
- 270 mm dovetail socket to better support larger optical tubes
- Massive 70 mm stainless steel tripod legs with more open position for improved stability under heavy loads
- The new accessory tray can accommodate three 1.25" and two 2" eyepieces, also with vertical support for your smartphone or tablet
- 31.5 mm stainless steel counterweight shaft, heavy-duty to support additional counterweights
- Optional polar finder module designed for CGX and CGX-L
- Compatibility with optional wireless operating accessories such as StarSense AutoAlign and SkyPortal WiFi (sold separately)
- Compact, low-profile equatorial head provides greater stability and portability. More robust and stiffer with faster damping time
- Improved motors provide more torque, better handling and tracking under heavy loads
- Belt drive system minimizes backlash while providing smooth engine operation at full capacity
- Windows built into the motor covers can be easily removed so that pulleys and belts can be monitored
- Internal cabling for worry-free remote operation. Power inlet and lower accessory ports remain stationary while the bracket moves to prevent unwanted entanglement and snagging
- Internal stops for the two shafts prevent strain on the wiring
- Internal optical sensors on both axes for simple and safe remote operation
- The "home" position sensor allows the mount to always start in the indicated position regardless of the orientation before a reconnection of the power supply to the mount
- It includes the new PWI telescope control software from Celestron, co-developed by PlaneWave Instruments. The software features multi-point mount modeling for outstanding pointing accuracy
- The "All-Star Polar Alignment" alignment software enables fast and highly accurate polar alignment. Align on any bright star without extra polar alignment accessories, applications or other assistance
- Adjustable equatorial head position to optimize the center of gravity on the tripod and maximize the latitude range from 3° to 65°
- Double dovetail lace Vixen / CG-5 and Losmandy / CEM
- More than 20º of additional tracking beyond the meridian on both sides
- The redesigned tripod has a wider span for greater stability. The minimum tripod height has also been reduced to increase viewing comfort
- Tripod legs can be collapsed with the accessory tray already installed for faster set-up and transportation
- Integrated handles for easy carrying and portability
- New ergonomically designed dovetail clamping knobs
- Innovative and improved polar alignment adjustment system
- New ergonomic adjustment knobs with reduced friction for smooth and easy positioning under full loads, thanks to low-friction Teflon bearings for easy full-load adjustments
- NexStar+ control unit with USB 2.0 port used to connect directly to PC with PWI software
- 2 auxiliary ports and autoguide available for optimal cable management
- PEC and PPEC sensors
- 12VDC threaded power input connector
- Internal real time clock (retains time and observation site information)
- On / off rocker switch with red LED
