The LiteRoc tripod is a recent development from iOptron. It is as light as possible but with the necessary stability. Therefore, it is well suited for transportable mounts for observers and astrophotographers outings.
Compared to the previous version, the LiteRoc tripod has a more stable support for the extendable legs and larger clamping levers.
The upper part of the tripod legs has a diameter of 45 mm (1.75") and the lower section of 38 mm (1.5"). This makes the extendable legs as strong as the previous 2" tripod legs.
Thanks to a narrower top design, the LiteRoc is lighter.
