The three-lens design of the RCC 1 (Rowe) coma corrector for Newton telescopes increases the working distance to 91.5 millimeters, allowing the interposition of off-axis guides, adaptive optics or filter wheels without affecting the optical performance of the system. Optical coating on both sides of all lenses delivers the highest possible light transmission with images free of reflections or halos. Valid for Newton telescopes with focal ratios between F/3.5 and F/6. Unlike other corrector systems, the RCC from Baader Planetarium does not modify the focal length, works at a real factor of 1.1 and does not darken the image or reduce the field. In addition, the RCC 1 only extends the focal point slightly (about 5 millimeters for systems at F/4). Weight of the corrector: 142 grams.
