Product Details

The MPCC Mark III Coma Corrector from Baader Planetarium is the ultimate solution for correcting the field of view of short focal length Newton type reflectors, with the valuable advantage of not increasing the magnification factor. Its design has been optimized for focal ratios from f/3.5 to f/6, providing a maximum star size of 12 microns across a full 35 mm format. In addition to the careful manufacturing process followed during the realization of its optical elements, the Multi-Coated treatment of the multi-coated Phantom Group© type lenses offers maximum maximum transmission and an absence of reflections from UV to NIR. The MPCC Mark III has been designed for trouble-free visual and photographic use.

The system output includes a T2 thread to which the camera's own T-mount can be directly attached, as well as a 48 mm external thread that allows it to fit directly into the 50.8 mm eyepiece socket. This version includes the necessary elements for photography.
