Field Corrector/Flattener TS-Optics 1.0x for refractors between 80-155mm diameter
Field corrector TS PHOTOLINE 1.0x for APO and ED refractor telescopes
This corrector is suitable for refractors from 80mm aperture. It works very well with PHOTOLINE apos and ED refractors from 80 mm aperture upwards from TS-Optics. The corrector offers very good illumination and correction up to 45 mm diameter (image circle) and can therefore be used very well on cameras with full-frame sensors.
Adjust the corrector individually to your camera and refractor - no more adapter battles!
An essential part of the corrector is the integrated fine adjustment. By turning the knurled ring of the corrector, you can adjust the distance to the sensor with a precision of fractions of a millimeter. Once you have reached the desired distance, fix it with the locking screw. In this way, you can determine the optimum distance by test exposures with the camera attached, without additional adapters or adjustment rings. The camera does not rotate during fine adjustment.
The following settings are recommended from the innermost position of the adjustment to the sensor:
80 mm aperture / focal ratio f/6 - 81.2 mm
aperture 80 mm / focal ratio f/7 - 80.2 mm
Aperture 102 mm / focal ratio f/7 - 75.3 mm
Aperture 115 mm / focal ratio f/7 - 73.0 mm
Aperture 125 mm / focal ratio f/7.8 - 69.7 mm
Aperture 130 mm / focal ratio f/7 - 69.7 mm
Aperture 140 mm / focal ratio f/6.5 - 68.0 mm
Aperture 155 mm / focal ratio f/8 - 57.0 mm
Telescope connection:
This Photoline reducer has a male M63x1 thread on the telescope side. Many focusers already have this thread as standard. Of course, adapters for other threads, such as M68x1, are available.
Application example: how to set the distance:
Setting the correct distance is very easy, as we show with the following example:
Telescope: refractor with 130 mm f/7 aperture, i.e. 910 mm focal length.
Camera: SLR with 55 mm distance from the M48 thread to the sensor.
The working distance is 69.7 mm according to the table. The 55 mm (thread-to-sensor distance) must be subtracted from this measurement. This leaves 14.7 mm.
Simply turn the variable adjustment 14.7 mm outwards, this is easily adjustable by the distance mark. You are now at the optimum distance and can start taking pictures.
