Product Details

The 0.8x reducer can bring the focal ratio of the Askar 103APO up to F5.4. This is a standard reducer with field flattening capabilities as well. A shorter focal ratio allows the OTA to have a wider field of view and faster exposure times, making it suitable for capturing large areas of nebulae, star clusters, and faint, fast-moving celestial objects.

The 0.8x reducer adopts a triplet design and supports a 44 mm full-frame image circle. The total weight is 0.48 kg. The rear focus of the M48 thread is 55mm standard. The front thread is M84*1. At the camera end, it is equipped with M54*0.75 and M48*0.75 two sizes of adapters, which are convenient for connection. At the same time, it has a built-in 2-inch M48*0.75 filter thread, which can be installed and used directly. CNC machining overall, both ends threaded metal caps prevent ash when not in use.
