Field corrector TS 0.8x for CF-Apo 80mm and Photoline 80mm Triplet APO f/6
The corrector is designed for this apochromatic and provides optimal astrophotographic results. Cameras up to full frame can be used and images of the stars are accurate down to the corners. In addition, the focal length of the apochromatic is reduced to 384 mm. The focal ratio is improved to f/4.8, saving about 36% in exposure time compared to a 1.0x flattener.
Connecting cameras to the corrector
On the camera side, the corrector has an M48x0.75 male thread. This thread provides 15% more illumination than the T2. Therefore, we can recommend the corrector for all cameras up to full frame. The working distance is exactly 55 mm from the thread. For all astro cameras there are suitable adapters for this thread and distance. We will be pleased to advise you.
Available thread for 2" nebula filters:
If you unscrew the camera adapter from the corrector, you have a thread for 2" filters inside. Here you can use nebula filters for contrast enhancement or IR cut filters. The working distance is not changed.
[[La conexión en el lado del telescopio:}]The corrector has a M63x1 male thread on the telescope side. With this thread, you can screw the corrector directly onto the focuser of the TS CF apo. No tilting is possible and the image of the stars remains optimal. To adapt the adapter to the TLAPO804, you need the M63 to M68 extension adapter # M68a-M63i.
Adaptation of astro cameras with 17.5 mm T2 thread distance to the sensor:
Many astro cameras have a T2 connection thread and a 17.5 mm rear focus. With this adaptation, a 360° rotation, a quick coupling and even a 2" filter mount have also been integrated. You need the following components, from camera to telescope:

♦ TSROTM48-T2 (adapter to M48, rotation, quick coupling and filter holder).
♦ TSVF208 and TSFV210
